How to Make Vegan “Snickers” Date Candy

To start making your candy, pit your dates if they are not already pitted. To do this make a slit in your date and and pull the pit out.I like to purchase my dates already pitted and save myself the step.

Next, put a thin layer of nut butter inside your dates. You can use peanut, almond, etc.

Then, stuff a few peanuts inside your dates and press together to seal the peanut butter and peanuts inside.

Melt your vegan chocolate chips in the microwave for one minute and stir until melted. If needed continue to warm chocolate chips in 30 second increments if needed until all are melted.
