Ingredients Needed to Make Vegan & Gluten-Free Cheeseburger Pizza
Step 1: Make the Zesty “Big Mac” Sauce
You’ll need:
Vegan Mayo – For a creamy, tangy base
Yellow Mustard – Adds that classic burger flavor
Sweet Relish – A touch of sweetness and crunch
White Vinegar – For a bit of acidity
Garlic – Fresh or powdered for a savory kick
Paprika – Adds mild smokiness
Onion Powder – Balances the flavors
Salt – Just a pinch to enhance taste
Step 2: Assemble Your Cheeseburger Pizza
Gluten-Free Pizza Crust – I love Schar brand; they come in a 2-pack, perfect for family meals!
Plant-Based Meat Crumbles – Try Gardein, Beyond, or Impossible – all vegan and gluten-free
Vegan Cheddar Shreds – Melted, gooey, and full of flavor
Pickles – Use hamburger dill chips (look for ones without added dyes)
Shredded Lettuce – For that fresh crunch
Diced Red Onion – A little sharpness to balance flavors
Diced Roma Tomato – A juicy, fresh touch
How to Make Cheeseburger Pizza
This vegan & gluten-free cheeseburger pizza is so simple to make! You can even prep ahead by making the sauce in advance—just whisk everything together in a bowl, and it’ll keep in the fridge for up to five days. That way, it’s ready to go when you are!
Step 1: Preheat & Cook the vegan meat alternative
Start by preheating your oven according to the instructions on your gluten-free pizza crust package.
While the oven is heating up, cook your plant-based meat crumbles in a pan over medium heat until they’re browned and heated through.
Step 2: Assemble Your Pizza
Grab your pizza crust and spread a generous layer of the zesty “Big Mac” sauce all over the base.
Sprinkle on the cooked vegan meat crumbles evenly across the pizza.
Add a layer of vegan cheddar shreds—the more, the cheesier!
Scatter a few hamburger dill pickles on top for that perfect tangy bite.
Step 3: Bake Until Golden & Melty
Pop your pizza into the oven and bake for about 10 minutes (or follow the crust’s baking instructions) until the edges are golden and the cheese is nice and melty.
Step 4: Add Fresh Toppings & Serve
Once your pizza is out of the oven, it’s time for the fresh, crisp toppings! Sprinkle on shredded lettuce, diced red onions, and diced Roma tomatoes for that authentic cheeseburger experience.
Slice it up, serve, and enjoy every bite of this fun, flavor-packed pizza!
