I don’t know about you, but a majority of meals in my teenage and young adult years consisted of ramen noodle packets. Quick, cheap, and yummy these were a staple in my young diet. Obviously, I wish I would have known then what I do now BUT nonetheless. Enter this quick, easy, YUMMY ramen noodle dish. Way healthier than the questionable ramen packets but just as satisfying. This is one of those quick meals everyone in my house devours and asks for seconds.
To make this quick and easy ramen recipe, bring a medium to large pot of water to a boil, add in ramen and cook according to package directions. The noodles typically only take 3 minutes until finished. Drain and set aside. In a medium to large saute pan pour in sesame oil and chopped garlic. Stir constantly on low heat for a minute or two. Next you’ll add in the brown sugar, gluten free soy sauce, and red pepper flakes. Stir on low heat for an additional minute and remove from heat. Pour the cooked ramen noodles into your sauce and stir to combine and coat your ramen. Add in chopped green onions and serve. Enjoy!
