Vegan and Gluten free Stroganoff “Hamburger Helper”

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. vegan meat alternative
  • (2) 8 oz. boxes gluten free pasta
  • 2 cups water
  • 8 oz. vegan cheddar shreds
  • 3 Tbsp gluten free flour
  • 1 tsp minced garlic (or 1 fresh garlic clove)

Instructions

  1. Spray sauté pan with cooking oil and brown vegan meat alternative until cooked through.
  2. When “meat” is finished browning, add in: pasta, water, vegan milk, bag of vegan cheddar shreds, gluten free flour, garlic, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. 
  3. Stir all ingredients together and bring to a boil.
  4. Cover and simmer on low for 7-9 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
