How to to Make Vegan and Gluten Free White “Sausage” Gravy

To make your delicious gravy, begin by browning your vegan sausage on medium heat in a pan. Once it’s fully cooked, transfer to a medium bowl and set aside. In the same pan, add in your butter and allow it to melt before adding in your gluten free flour. Stir your flour on low for about 1 to 2 minutes being careful not to let it burn. Slowly pour in your non dairy milk with your flour, and whisk together until combined. Add in salt , pepper and vegan sausage and stir on low for another 3-5 minutes or until the gravy thickens. Allow it to cool and serve with freshly-baked gluten free biscuits!

Vegan and Gluten Free White Sausage Gravy

Ingredients
  

  • 14 oz. Impossible vegan sausage
  • 4 tsp. Non dairy butter
  • 1/4 cup Gluten free flour
  • 2 cups Non dairy milk
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Begin by browning your vegan sausage in a pan.
    Once it's fully cooked, transfer to a medium bowl and set aside
  • In the same pan, add in your butter and allow it to melt before adding in your gluten free flour.
  • Stir your flour on low for about 1 to 2 minutes being careful not to let it burn.
  • Pour in your non dairy milk with your flour, and whisk together until combined.
  • Add in salt , pepper and vegan sausage and stir on low for another 3-5 minutes or until the gravy thickens. 
  • Allow it to cool and serve with freshly-baked gluten free biscuits!
